Reading Jonah ch 4. Blame and complains

•when life is hard we run to the place or person we believe in.
Some run to bottles, pills, bad friends. You need to run to the ones who will challenge you to become a better person.

2. I will choose to laugh and tease and not take myself so seriously. Life has enough seriousness of it’s own every day.

Have fun. It’s good to play and tease.

• we all have a choice of how we will see and embrace life, that choice is critical to ourselves and our children.

You leave something behind to your family what are you passing on.

3. People have forgiven me for unkind words and bad behavior; I will forgive others. I will not judge, nor will I hold grudges. I will move on with my life even though others may not want to.

It is okay to judge but do so biblically.

Are you stuck in Your fuss. If so let go of what ever it is and allow forgiveness to take over.

5. I will always remember lost friends, lost years and the foolishness of those times. There are no do overs in life.

6. I’m to old to act like a child, it’s way past time to grow up. God expects more of me

Enough is enough. Really grow up. Not age but in life.

7. I will live my life in such a way that I will never have to say “I wish I would have”. Again.

Lord I want to live today as if today was the last day I had to share you with others.

God cares for me. He created me in my mothers womb

4. I will not pout or complain or get grumpy as I get older life is to short.

What plan do we want to have for our kids and for us getting older.

Be happy in life.

5. I will choose to be generous- it all belongs to him anyway and he is a generous God.

• Guard her heart

•She never has to wonder if I love God and spend time with him
•I will keep her from feeling incacure.
•I will keep away from things that degrade or devalue her.
•I will do my best to calm her anxious moments

• Capture the moments
•Sense when she needs me to pray for her.
•Responsible for her spiritual well-being
•Praise and encourage her
•Be there when she needs someone to listen to her.
