The road to contentment
Part one

1. You were stitched together perfectly, just as God desired.

-In some way we are all unique.
-There is not another person like you
-You have a place and meaning in life
-Today I pray that you would remember why God created you.
-help others see the things they don’t see in them selves.

Find out what your good at and become great at it.

3. You are gifted- Yes you are.

We all have gifts that God wants us to use. What is you gift?

4. Be content with how God made you- you are his (God’s) unique creation.

I know I am somebody because GOD don’t make no junk!!!

Lord what gifts have you given me. Where can I serve you. Jesus where are you working because I want to join you there.

Contentment thieves

About knowing when the end times will come. Just be ready!!!

1. The three most common thief’s of contentment

Matt4:1-11•because you are the son of God tell these stones to become bread. ( Satan wanted to have Jesus miss use his power) Jesus IS the son of God and knew the truth but Satan still try this on us all the time. (are you sure God will provide for you.)
Why should Satan ever change his ways?

I want it now!

2. This thief is praised in America today( workaholic)
- It’s cool to be a workaholic
-Those who live life at a frantic pace are applauded.
- Pace of life is critical for contentment.
Col3:23 work for The Lord not man!

Do you have a day of rest?

3. This thief defines america today (stuff)
- if only I had more stuff
- I am not happy now but I would be if only I had…
Like a child chasing and catching bubbles when this catch one this find out that the nice beautiful bubble is really a empty pile of suds.

4. This thief stole/Changed the American mind
Media
A lie told hundreds of times becomes a truth

5. Today, we must decide if contentment is worth it and if we value this biblical challenge.

A lot of good Christians will live good lives but not know the contentment that God has for us.

Jesus even in his busy life he took time to rest and seek God the father.

Learn to hear God’s voice.

Pause and think about it!
