Blasphemy- Should you be Worried
Blasphemy- Should you be Worried
Matthew 12:31-32
Pastor Tom
1. Let's look at these two verses in context.
*vs 22-32. Jesus calls the Pharisees out. "Your either with me or against me"
Jesus wants you all in.
The Pharisee rejected everything about Jesus. It was their thinking that they would not change so they were blasphemy the Holy Spirit.
Tom idea of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.- A way of thinking the dictates your life, attitudes, behavior, and actions.
All sins are serious. (the vs does not mean that sins don't need to be forgiven.) it means that Jesus already paid for them.
2. He is either the Messiah or He is not. We are with him or against him.
Being against him would be not allowing the Spirit to change us.
Numbers 15:30-31
"It's like a groom trying to woo his bride over and over but the bride makes no response to the groom, so the groom gives up on the bride and moves on."- Eric Fitzpatrick
The Pharisee were rejecting the role of Christ. They were denying the miracles Jesus was doing, giving the credit to someone else...
Jeremiah16:8
Jeremiah 7:13
3. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a heart sin.
If you believe that you have committed this sin... And you feel God moving then you have not committed it just allow God to change you heart.
4. How can I blaspheme the Holy Spirit today?
God is ready you give you his good things are you going to take it or are you going to not change your thinking and possibly blaspheme the Holy Spirit?
When God says love someone, bless someone, forgive someone then relax and allow God to move in your life.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
