1. The truth about influence.
• it can have a powerful effect on other people
• it can be abused
• it can be wasted
• think of someone who has has tremendous Influence
• think of someone in your life that wasted their Influence

2. Eli had Influence
•through position
• 1 Samuel 9-20
• where is my position of influence, how are you using your Influence.

3. Eli did not have influence on his sons

• there sins were many and great.
1 Samuel 2:12-17
• Samuel was raised by Eli and yet he still stayed pure.
• the hammer comes down

1 Samuel 2:30
30 Therefore Jehovah, the God of Israel, saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now Jehovah saith, Be it far from me; for them that honor me I will honor, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Samuel rose up

• A word from God to Samuel.
• the death of Eli.

4. What it takes to be a person of Godly Influence

•It's more then position, we need our own personal relationship with Jesus.

•Awareness

•Time and consistency

•Courage

•Words of direction, encouragement and challenge.

Lord use us to show the world you love them.

My number one person who Influenced me is my Grandma. The person who has not influenced me would be my mother as much as she could.
