Where do the countries come from.
Have you ever thought about where all the different countries come from. After reading Genesis 10 and read the commentary I now know some of them. Read on to find out where you might have come from.
Noah had three sons.
Shem, Ham, Japheth.
Japheth sons were
-Gomer: Present day Germany
-Magon: Present day Russia
-Madai: Was the Medes and the Persians (Present day Iran)
-Javan: Present day Greece
-Meshech: is the Present day Moscow
-Ashkenaz: Present day Eastern Germany and Eastern Europe
-Togrmah: Settled in Turkey
-Tarshis: Either Spain or England
Sons of Ham
-Cush: The Nile, Present day Ethiopia
-Mizraim: is the area of Egypt
-Phut: Present day Libya
-Canaan: Present day Israel
-Sheba and Dedan: Present day Saudi Arabia
-Nimrod: Babel, Babylon and the Assyrians
-Sino: China (Chinese, Japanese, and Asian People are descendants of Ham)
Sons of Shem
-Eber: The Hebrews
